Top 10 reasons for not using natural healing methods.

 

 

Ten years ago, I had my first ‘miracle’. In 6 months, I went from being bent over to the left, barely able to walk, and in pain 24/7 to standing straight, walking noticeably better, and being substantially out of pain. I did it through diet and nutrition. Since that time, I have been an ‘evangelist’ for natural healing methods. I’ve told everybody I’ve met that they can improve their health through diet, nutrition, and other natural healing modalities. When I do this, I often hit a brick wall. Most people are firmly embedded in the belief that health is a question of luck, and when you get ill, your only options are drugs and surgery. Here are a few of the reasons people have given me over the years for not trying natural healing methods.

• “I don't need your natural healing modalities. God is going to heal me. Even if I try the products, I will know God healed me and not the products.”

MY RESPONSE: I really struggle to understand this logic. Are you saying that God only heals through supernatural means? How about when God healed Hezekiah through a lump of figs (Isaiah 38)?  God can heal you THROUGH the natural means that he has provided for your health. Why not try the products and pray that God will use them (the same way Christians pray for God to guide the hands of surgeons)? (I covered this idea more thoroughly here.)

• “I’d be scared to try natural medicine.”

MY RESPONSE: You’re scared to change your diet and take God-designed natural products for your health! I have a question: Do you take pharmaceutical drugs? Are you aware that they are the third leading cause of death? (See Peter C Gøtzsche: Prescription drugs are the third leading cause of death) 

• “I’ve heard there’s a very small chance the product could cause damage.”

MY RESPONSE: I once heard a lovely Christian woman give me this reason for not trying a natural health product. She then went on to list the pharmaceuticals she was taking and how they had solved one problem but caused another. She could not see the irony of what she was saying. Natural products may have minor side effects (especially if, like me, you have a hyper-sensitive body). My advice to you would be to make sure you are using them properly and try them slowly at first.

• “I might get detox symptoms.”

MY RESPONSE: Yes, you might. If that happens, it will be a sign that you are clearing out harmful toxins from your body. Detoxing is a necessary part of healing. It can be uncomfortable, but there are ways to mitigate the symptoms, and the rewards can be great. Detoxing will be temporary (maybe just a few days) and will take you on further into healing. • “I’ll ask my doctor [MD] first.”

MY RESPONSE: That’s a very good idea. Please always ask your doctor. But when you do, please remember that your doctor is only trained in drugs and surgery. He or she probably has little or no training in nutrition and natural healing. They may be super-intelligent, but they still don’t know what they don’t know. Furthermore, they live in a world that is financed and controlled by Big Pharma, and Big Pharma suppresses information about natural healing.

• “God told me not to try it.”

RESPONSE: I can’t and won’t argue with that. If God is really telling you not to do it, you shouldn’t do it, or at least not until he tells you to. Maybe this isn’t the right time for you. Maybe you have other things to deal with first. I would encourage anybody to pray and ask God what they should do about your health. That also includes praying about whether they should go to their doctor and take the drugs they prescribe or undergo the surgery they recommend.

• “I tried it. It didn’t work.”

MY RESPONSE: “How long did you try it for?” If the answer is a week or even a month, I would ask how long you think it took you to get sick. The answer is probably years, maybe decades. Your body has an incredible capacity to heal itself, but it takes time to undo years of damage and to rebuild. We live in a society where you take a pill and it suppresses the symptoms immediately. That’s not the same as true healing. Healing is a process. Give it time.

• “I tried it. It didn’t work, but fortunately I got better anyway.”

MY RESPONSE: Let me try to understand this. You tried the product and during that time you recovered, but you don’t attribute the recovery to the product. You think you just happened to get better at that time by coincidence. OK, that’s possible, but you might like to give it a bit more thought.

• “I tried it and I got better, but it was because of something else, not the natural products.”

MY RESPONSE: Again, that’s possible, but I have some questions. How long had you been trying the ‘something else’? Ten years? So the ‘something else’ didn’t work for 10 years, but as soon as you added the new wellbeing product, the ‘something else’ worked?  

• “I tried it and got great results. After just a week, I could walk much further and I was in much less pain. However, I can’t afford to continue.”

MY RESPONSE: I have 2 responses:

1. What are you paying for in your life that is actually damaging you health-wise or in other ways (psychologically or spiritually)? How much do you spend on coffee a day? What about those pizzas you order? Is your subscription to Netflix really necessary? Your health is of prime importance. Is there really nothing you can give up for the sake of better health?
2. Many supplements and wellbeing products are sold through MLMs (multi-level marketing companies). You might frown on that, but the fact is it gives you a fantastic opportunity. If you’re getting great results with a particular product, it is only natural that you will want to tell the world. With an MLM, through sharing your success you can build an income that pays for your own products and beyond. What can be more satisfying than helping others recover their health (and getting paid for it)?

It’s your decision whether you want to try a natural approach to healing. But please approach the question with an open mind. Try to think outside the box. Educate yourself about natural healing. Pray.

The fact is, I have yet to meet anybody who went the natural route to healing who later regretted it.  

 

 

Consultant cardiologist says, “We’re heading towards hell.”

 

 

“The current trajectory we’re going down with all this misinformation is one towards oblivion. I mean, ultimately, truth is what’s going to redeem the world from hell. We’re heading towards hell.”

These comments were made by consultant cardiologist Aseem Malhotra while discussing the corporate capture of the health industry and Big Pharma’s control of mainstream media. The full interview with Del Bigtree can be seen here. Dr Malhotra has been speaking out for several years about the overmedication of our society, especially when it comes to statin drugs. He has appeared on television several times. However, when the Covid ‘vaccines’ were released at the end of 2020, he initially toed the party line. He was among the first to take two shots of the Pfizer ‘vaccine’ and he appeared on Good Morning, Britain to tell the world they were safe and effective.

Later, evidence on benefits and harms started to come in and Dr Malhotra says that what he found was ‘really quite shocking’ and he felt a responsibility to get this information out to the public and policy makers, to suspend the roll out of the mRNA technology.

Then tragedy stuck. In July 2021, 6 months after receiving the second dose of the Pfizer ‘vaccine’, Dr Malhotra’s 73-year-old father suffered a ‘shocking, unexplained, sudden cardiac death’. His father was a GP (General Practitioner) who was in good health and living a healthy lifestyle. There had been no previous indications of heart trouble, and Dr Malhotra says the autopsy results did not make sense to him at all. There were several blockages in two arteries that he just couldn’t explain.

Dr Malhotra did not immediately think his father’s demise had been caused by the Covid ‘vaccine’. In fact, when somebody speculated on the doctor’s Twitter feed that the ‘vaccine’ was responsible, he treated that person as a troll and blocked them.  However, a few months later it became very clear to him that the mRNA technology accelerates coronary heart disease and that his father’s death was ‘almost certainly’ caused by the ‘vaccine’. Dr Malhotra now goes as far as to say that ‘Anything and everything that can go wrong with the heart is triggered or can be caused by the vaccine.’

In June 2022, Dr Malhotra published a paper in two parts called Curing the pandemic of misinformation on COVID-19 mRNA vaccines through real evidence-based medicine.  In it he shows evidence that the Covid ‘vaccines’ are doing far more harm than good. You are more likely to suffer a serious adverse event from taking the ‘vaccine’ (such as disability, a life-changing event, and/or hospitalisation) than you are to be hospitalised with Covid. (See the paper: Serious Adverse Events of Special Interest Following mRNA Vaccination in Randomized Trials) In the first couple of months of the Covid trials, 1 in 800 people suffered a serious adverse event. (This is the rate for the healthy people chosen for the trial. The rate in the general population would be expected to be much higher.) On the other hand, in the over 80 age group (the highest risk group for Covid) 7,300 people need to be vaccinated to prevent one Covid death. (See How many injections prevent on Covid death?) Whilst Dr Malhotra has been attacked personally for publishing this paper, the facts stated in the paper are not disputed and have not been rebutted.

Dr Malhotra’s assessment of the current state of the health industry is that the problems go far beyond the Covid ‘vaccine’ and that ‘Evidence-based medicine has been hijacked by powerful vested interests.’ Therefore, the only solution is to fix the entire system.

In the current system, drug companies are not only allowed to develop drugs but also to test them themselves and then hold on to the raw data (as with the Covid ‘vaccines’). Regulatory agencies and governments are taking money from Pharma. The FDA gets most of its funding from Pharma. In the U.S.A., political parties receive money from Pharma. In the UK, the MHRA (The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) gets 86% of its funding from Pharma. Independent scientists are not being allowed to influence decision making. And according to Dr Malhotra, ‘Much, if not most, published research is not reliable, offers no benefit to patients, and therefore is not useful to decision makers.’

In the interview, Del Bigtree points out that the pharmaceutical industry loses court cases for billions of dollars every year for having lied about safety and efficacy over and over again. He says that, if we do not curtail their current power and we allow them to continue pushing out products without proper safety testing (especially with ‘vaccines’ that can be injected into every human being on earth), then we won’t have long to live as a species.

These comments are what prompted the quote given at the top of this article. Dr Malhotra says we are heading towards hell if we do not succeed in getting out the truth about Pharma’s control of the health industry.

In addressing the current health crisis, Dr Malhotra points out that there are simple ways to improve our health through lifestyle choices. In the west, we are seriously overmedicated, but ‘You can’t fix lifestyle and social problems with pills.’ However, just one month of dietary changes can have a very positive effect. The biggest problem is ultra-processed food (See article: Why you are addicted to processed food. Dr Malhotra’s advice is ‘If your grandmother wouldn’t recognise the ingredients, don’t eat it.’ He also advocates moderate exercise, 7 hours sleep per night, and stress management. Dr Malhotra also sometimes prescribes hugs for his patients — 10 x 20-second hugs a day.

Our current health system is leading us to disaster, but we have the power to change that system through educating ourselves and speaking out about the dangers of allowing a corrupt and powerful industry, run for profit, to dictate our health policies. We also have the power to take responsibility for our own health through health lifestyle choices.

Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

The prevailing understanding of health is that bad genes cause disease and our only recourse is drugs and surgery. That is far from the truth. Our life choices and environment have an enormous effect on our health. The Bible told us thousands of years ago that even such things as ‘pleasant words’ can affect our health. And in the 21^st century, scientists are finally starting to catch up.

In the video Epigenetic transformation – you are what your grandparents ate: Pamela Peeke at TEDxLowerEastSide (see below), Pamela Peeke explains how science moved from genetics to epigenetics in 2007 through an experiment with agouti mice. The effect of the agouti gene in these mice, which made the mice obese and yellow in colour, was changed simply by feeding the pregnant mothers greens. The expression of the gene had been changed through diet.

And it’s not just diet that affects our gene expression. It’s lifestyle, habits, physical movement, laughing, positive thoughts, love etc.

As I’ve mentioned many times, I went from barely able to walk to now running, working out and dancing. I achieved this without any drugs or surgery. I’ve spoken before in this blog about the role of diet, supplementation, and stem cell activation patches in my recovery. Now let’s talk about other factors that have played a part.

I’m a Christian. Christians live in the love of God. We submit our thought lives to the word of God. We put our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and always try to remain thankful. We seek to follow God’s law and to receive his forgiveness and grace when we fall. So even when I was living in pain, disability, and daily trauma ten years ago, I still walked through it with God. In today’s world, I see plenty to make me sad, sorrowful, angry, frustrated, and afraid. But I see those things through faith, hope, love, and thankfulness in God. I’m sure this mindset has contributed to my recovery.

As a scientist who studies epigenetics, Pamela Peeke would agree that all this ‘positive thinking’ is good for my health. But we didn’t need science to tell us this. It’s all in the book of Proverbs.

Proverbs 3:7-8

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Watching the video also made me realise that other activities I’m currently doing are contributing to my recovery more than I thought. Things like dancing, practising the piano, and singing.

Diet and nutrition are vital for health recovery but so is everything that we do in our lives. And there’s always room for improvement. I’ve been carefully watching my diet for 30 years, but after listening to the agouti mice story, I’ve ordered some kale.

The NHS: ‘A pressure cooker about to blow.’

 

 

The NHS is collapsing before our eyes.

There are 130,000 vacancies in the NHS and 160,000 in social care. There are 7 million people on the waiting list in the UK for routine surgery such as hip and knee replacements, and back surgery. (See NHS is on the brink of collapse warns British Medical Association - YouTube) Maybe you’re one of these people and you’re having to wait months or even years. Now is a great time for you to consider breaking free from your dependence on a crumbling system, and look for alternative ways to maintain your health.

Shortly after arriving in South Korea in 1999, I had a moment of panic when it occurred to me that I no longer had access to the NHS. What had I done in removing myself so far from such a wonderful health system? My father had worked for the NHS and so had I, twice in fact: once in personnel and once in the office of a theatre suite.

By 2009 I had come to completely review my understanding of health and medicine, and when in 2012 I was told I needed a hip replacement, I refused. I chose a different route and in seeking to help my hip, I found ways to dramatically help the rest of my body as well. (The whole story is presented in 5,000 words in my free ebook I could barely walk. Now I can run. 

I haven’t visited an MD in 10 years, and I’m not on any pharmaceuticals. In short, I’m not dependent on the NHS (although if, God forbid, I am ever in a serious car accident, I will greatly appreciate their trauma care). I have learned how to maintain a good state of health through diet, nutrition, and other lifestyle choices. I’ve also learned how to deal with minor health issues naturally, without resorting to drugs. There may soon come a time when many more people in the UK are forced to do the same because they can no longer rely on the NHS. In fact, maybe that time has already come.

To change your dependency on the medical system, you have to begin by changing your thinking. A lot of people just live their lives without giving much consideration to their health. They just wait to get sick, and when that happens, they go to the doctor and get pharmaceuticals. If one day the doctor and the drugs are no longer there, they’ll have a big problem.

The alternative is to take responsibility for your health and to maintain it. You will then be much less likely to get sick, and if you do, you don’t have to resort to drugs. There are plenty of alternatives.

To give you just one example, you may think that the wisemen’s main gift to baby Jesus was gold, and that the frankincense and myrrh were just stocking fillers. You’d be wrong. Frankincense and myrrh have wonderful medicinal properties. Just a few of these are listed in the video Why the 3 Wise Men’s frankincense and myrrh gifts are valued to this day. These include joint pain, inflammation, and digestive issues. Some researchers are even investigating the anti-cancer effects of frankincense.

Some people keep pain killers in their bags just in case. I always keep frankincense in mine. It’s the best thing I’ve found for insect bites, and it’s useful to have on hand if you meet someone in a distressed emotional state. Inhaling frankincense is excellent for settling the emotions. The last time I used it was a couple of weeks ago when I slightly pulled my back at church. I rubbed on some frankincense to ease the discomfort.

So, my advice to you is this; don’t wait for the NHS (or the medical system in your country) to collapse. Start learning how to maintain your health naturally and how to deal with health issues without the need for a doctor or a pharmaceutical.

 

Drugs and surgery — the downward spiral.

 

 

Ten years ago, I got off the drugs and surgery treadmill when I refused a hip replacement. I dread to think what would have happened if I hadn’t made that decision.

At the time, I was bent over to the left and couldn’t straighten up. I could barely walk, and I was in pain 24/7. I knew a hip replacement wasn’t going to solve my problems. It would only add to them, and if I took that route, I would rapidly be caught in the usual drug and surgery downward spiral. Looking back, I don’t think I would have lived very long, and if I had, I would have needed 24-hour care and lost complete control over my own health.

I thank God that never happened. Instead, I chose the diet and nutrition route. The rest, as they say, is history.

The whole world is nutritionally deficient these days, especially when it comes to the 60 essential minerals our body needs every day. These minerals are no longer in our food because they are no longer in the soil. But modern conventional medicine ignores this and only prescribes drugs and surgery. This puts already sick people on a downward spiral that only ends with their death.

This is what typically happens. You have a chronic disease that is caused by nutritional deficiencies. The doctor gives you a drug. This doesn’t address the underlying cause; it just manages the symptoms. The use of the drug causes further depletion of your limited nutritional supplies. After a few months, the drug stops working so the doctor either increases the potency or adds another drug or two. You then need even more drugs to manage the side-effects of the original drugs.

Then you need surgery. You have your first hip replacement. You now have an artificial hip and you have lost any possibility of the body healing itself. (Your body knows how to heal hips made of flesh and bone, but not those made of metal.) The hip replacement hasn’t solved the underlying nutritional deficiency, in fact the strain of the surgery has made it worse. So soon you need the other hip replaced – then a knee – then a shoulder.

While all this is happening, your nutritional reserves get lower and lower causing more and more health problems.

I chose to go another way. I changed my diet and took all 90 essential nutrients every day.

I took the nutrition to help my hip. But actually, it was months before my hip showed a significant improvement. But while I was waiting, I saw wonderful improvements in the rest of my body, from the top of my head to the tip of my toes. My other joints (knees, shoulders, fingers etc.) got looser and more comfortable. I had more energy. I felt the bones in my face regrow. My hair grew back thick and healthy. My skin stopped cracking and bleeding. My restless leg syndrome reduced. The pain reduced. The frequent urination resolved. The feeling returned in my left leg. I could bend my ankles again. There were far too many improvements for me to remember and list here.

I had found the power of medical nutrition. I had also found that you can’t just fix one part of the body (as the MDs seek to do) without fixing the whole body.

You don’t need to be on the drugs and surgery downward spiral. There are alternatives.

He also explains how we have known since 1957 that the trace mineral Chromium plays a vital part in the body’s ability to process sugar.

So, you have a choice. You don’t need to be caught in the drugs and surgery downward spiral. There are natural, more effective, safer alternatives.
